The Boatshed
The Boatshed is situated on wine-lovers’ dream Waiheke Island, and is ideal for jetlagged travellers wanting to start their New Zealand adventure by the seaside, a short ferry ride away from the hustle and bustle of central Auckland.
Owner Jonathan developed the family “bach” (Kiwi holiday home) to create one of New Zealand’s most unique properties, offering a range of rooms from sophisticated beach-hut-inspired “Boatsheds” to a 3-storeyed lighthouse complete with its own breakfast dumbwaiter.
Guests can dine at their leisure in the dining area, the garden, or the comfort of their own rooms, or ask staff to pack a picnic to take on the road. Dining and spa services are reserved for guests only, meaning you’ll never feel crowded or rushed.
