Bolton Hotel

The Bolton Hotel is an upmarket independent property located in the heart of the city centre, a stone’s throw from the Beehive and Parliament Buildings, and within easy walking distance of the lovely waterfront area, which houses some of the city’s best restaurants.

The hotel is proud of local history: it’s named after one of the first settler ships to arrive in New Zealand, and offers plenty of opportunity to learn more about some of its most famous passengers throughout the hotel and on the in-room i-pad mini. The smart corridors feature a range of artwork, notably by celebrated Kiwi artist Rita Angus, whose nephew Warwick is the Managing Director.

There are a range of room types available at the Bolton, from studios to suites offering services such as pillow menus and kitchenettes. Other hotel facilities include a small gym, lap pool and sauna as well as a popular restaurant and café.
