Tekapo Lodge
Up above the village of Tekapo and with grand views out over the lake and mountains, Tekapo Lodge has been recently renovated and our guests have been coming back with glowing feedback.
The three super king lake view rooms are stylishly and luxuriously decorated and have doors to a terrace for you to enjoy the vista and Stephanie’s book collection in the guest lounge challenges many small libraries!
Owners Alasdair and Stephanie have lived in the area for many years, and have explored New Zealand extensively, so they’re great to chat to over a glass of wine if you want some tips about what to make sure you don’t miss on your travels!
Tekapo lodge is just across the road from local business Earth and Sky star gazing and many guests take the amazing tour to the top of Mt John to view the dark sky through telescopes and cameras.

- In winter, making the most of the four ski fields that are nearby – Stephanie provides a drying room for wet ski gear.
