Miller House is a historic farmhouse situated in a rural location south of Auckland. The house dates back to 1895, and encompasses 12 acres of lovely gardens, as well as a further area of native bush rich with endemic birdlife. The property is still a working farm, with cattle, and pheasants kept.
Owner Hilary originates from Surrey, but has spent her adult life in New Zealand, first as an antique jewellery dealer before moving onto a South Auckland sheep farm, and then setting up her own landscape design business.
The luxurious Kaipo suite has stunning views of the surrounding farmland, and a second, smaller bedroom is also available for families or friends. The rooms are a great mix of contemporary art and classic period features, and there is a choice of bedding to suit all.
