This historic hotel is situated right across the road from the Sky Tower, and only a couple of blocks from both the city’s main shopping street, and the waterfront area.

It began its life in the 1920s as one of New Zealand’s largest department stores, and is one of Auckland’s most iconic properties, with sweeping views over the city and harbour.

Guests can choose from multiple room options, including some of the largest available in the city centre, staying in either the traditional Hotel Wing, with its native timber floors, high ceilings, and ornate columns, or the more contemporary Tower Wing with recently refurbished rooms. Wifi is complimentary throughout.
