Flights
The tour prices quoted for our holiday programmes are based on a land itinerary only. This offers you the flexibility to arrange flights yourself or, if you so wish, to take advantage of our comprehensive flight service. Wherever possible we offer direct flights from both Manchester and London. Regional connections are often available. Group members sometimes choose to combine their holiday with time spent visiting friends and family or travelling even further afield. We can usually arrange a later return flight and extra hotel reservations at the end of our tours for a small fee.

Hotels

The hotels for each holiday are carefully selected for their locations, high standards and suitability for our groups. They range from small country inns to resort style hotels, from alpine lodges to modern city hotels and are always amongst the best in the local area. Facilities will vary depending upon the country being visited and the nature of each hotel. Meals will be taken either in the hotel or in local restaurants, offering the chance to sample regional specialities. All the hotels featured are necessarily provisional, and may be amended according to group needs or requests. Hotel allocations will be confirmed at the time of booking.
 

Guides and Tour Directors

Many of our guides, tour escorts and drivers have worked with us over a considerable number of years. They have been chosen for their personable approach, local knowledge, language skills and enthusiasm. We can offer fully escorted tour programmes or ones in which our local guides will assist the group leader in the day-to-day operation of the tour.

Passports

Passport and visa requirements vary according to your destination. We can provide assistance with the process of obtaining a visa, if required, once booking has been confirmed.
 
Health
Group members are advised to consult their doctors for advice on health requirements. We can provide general guidelines regarding vaccinations and health precautions.

Dietary and Special Requests

Specific dietary or travel related requests should be made at the time of booking.
