The Lake District (2 nights)
- Cruise Lake Windermere
- Visit Dove Cottage, home of Wordsworth
- Join a short walk to Grasmere, around Buttermere or the beautiful Lake Derwent water
- Explore Beatrix Potter country
- Enjoy a pub meal in one of the Lake’s most welcoming hostelries
Chester / Stratford-upon-Avon (2 nights)
- Stroll through the mediaeval streets of Chester to admire the distinctive black and white architecture of many of the city’s buildings
- Tour the cottage of Shakespeare’s wife, Anne Hathaway, visit the Shakespeare Centre and watch a performance of one of the Bard’s famous plays in the newly refurbished main theatre or in ‘The Other Place’
- Visit the charming Cotswold villages of Chipping Campden, Broadway and Willersey
- Enjoy optional walks along the Cotswold Way with wonderful views from Dovers Hill
