This holiday traverses the states of Utah, Arizona and Nevada to explore the natural highlights of this stunning region, concluding amidst the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. 

Head deep into Monument Valley on a four-wheel jeep tour, discover the rich heritage of Indian settlement across the Canyonlands and explore the geological wonders that you encounter en route in the company of knowledgeable guides and rangers.

Itinerary Highlights

Scottsdale (1 night)

  • Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay

Sedona

  • Visit Montezuma Castle, a remarkable one thousand year old Indian dwelling carved out of a rocky hillside
  • Enjoy a tour of Sedona by a local guide which will highlight the history of early settlement, cowboy folklore and artistic depictions of this legendary town

Grand Canyon (2 nights)

  • Follow trails along the South Rim
  • Join a guided ranger walk for an insight into the natural history and fauna of the area
  • Take a flight over the Canyon for stunning aerial views

Lake Powell (1 night)

  • Enjoy a launch cruise excursion and a walk to Rainbow Bridge, the world’s largest natural arch

Monument Valley (1 night)

  • Have your cameras to hand as a Navajo guide transports you by jeep into the heart of the valley
  • View some nature’s most artistic creations, carved red sandstone butts and slender, sky-reaching monoliths which bear names like ‘Totem Pole’, ‘The Three Sisters’ and ‘Rooster’s Rock’

Bryce Canyon (2 nights)

  • Take a breakfast cruise on Lake Powell
  • Enjoy a park ranger talk about the geology of the Bryce
  • Follow some of the rim trails or enter the ‘Queen’s Garden’ for close-up views of the many pinnacles, spires and cathedral-like formations which make Bryce such a stunning geological area

Zion National Park

  • Explore the Park’s wide array of waterfalls, steep overhanging cliffs and rock formations
  • Follow easy trails alongside the Virgin River to the Narrows, where hanging gardens of wild flowers can often be found in the spring and summer; photograph the Lower and Upper Emerald Pools
  • Listen to a naturalist talk about the Park and its many features

Las Vegas, Nevada (2 nights)

  • Plenty of time to enjoy the shows, the casinos and the action.
