Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are the two crown jewels of Wyoming State and the focus for this exhilarating tour through the heart of the US Rockies. Both Parks combine spectacular scenic beauty with diverse wildlife, including elk, moose and coyote and fascinating natural phenomena such as the amazing geysers of Yellowstone and peaks and glaciers of the Grand Tetons.
There’s old West history in the town of Cody and the museums of the Buffalo Bill Historical Centre. See the famous Black Hill masterpieces of the Crazy Horse Memorial and the Presidents at Mount Rushmore. Enjoy a classic Western ranch experience, attend a Wild West Rodeo and walk with Park experts in Grand Teton National Park.

Itinerary Highlights
Jackson, Grand Tetons National Park (3 nights)
- Experience ‘Big Sky Country’ - high mountain ranges, grasslands and deep rock canyons.
- Walk along the spectacular Cascade Canyon Trail to Lake Solitude.
- Enjoy fishing or horseback riding or take a rafting trip along the Snake River.
- Discover Jackson’s attractions at leisure. Perhaps visit the superb ‘Images of Nature’ gallery or participate in a shoot-out at the OK Corral.
West Yellowstone, Yellowstone National Park (2 nights)
- Heading north of Grand Teton National Park, see the snow-topped mountains reflected in Jenny Lake.
- Take photographs from viewpoints at Heron Pond and Swan Lake, where waterfowl can often be seen.
- Explore the Firehole Valley area of the Park, which contains the largest concentration of geysers in the world.
- Follow trails to Fountain Pot Flats and Midway Geyser Basin.
- View Old Faithful Geyser, shooting up to 184 feet in the air approximately every 90 minutes.
- Explore the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, one of Yellowstone’s premier wonders.
Cody (1 night)
- Leave the mountains for the open grazing lands that lead to the Wild West town of Cody, named after its founder, Buffalo Bill Cody.
- Take yourself back to the 1890’s with visits to a variety of museums and galleries – the Buffalo Bill Historical Centre, the Plains India Museum and the Whitney Gallery of Western Art.
- Enjoy a Wild West rodeo (seasonal) or a cowboy music revue.
Bighorn Mountains, Sheridan (1 night)
- Cross the Bighorn Mountains with their breathtaking vistas of rugged canyons, sparkling waterfalls and miles of grassland.
- Visit a Wyoming ranch.
- View the Custer battlefield in Montana.
Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial; Rapid City (1 night)
- View the in-progress Crazy Horse Memorial, which when completed will be the largest stone carving in the world.
- Visit one of America’s best-known icons, Mount Rushmore, where the faces of former presidents – George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln – are carved into the granite rocks.
