"A beautiful place which surely repairs your body and soul ...". This is how Gustav Mahler, the famous Bohemian composer, described his summer holiday in Dobbiaco.
Lying in the broad Alpine Alta Val Pusteria, Dobbacio is a favoured location for exploring the Dolomite mountain region with a comprehensive network of signposted trails leading to mountain lakes, high pastures and Alpine meadows. The village in Alta Pusteria offers not only a wide range of outdoor activities but also a rich heritage of cultural life and musical traditions dating back many centuries.
